Irene Flores is an illustrator, part-time framer, occasional author, and full-time coffee drinker. Growing up in the Philippines, she was heavily influenced by both Japanese animation and American comics. In 1994, Flores and her family relocated to Lompoc, CA and she currently lives and works in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Her work includes the best-selling Shojo Fashion Manga Art School, published by Impact Books, and Mark of the Succubus, a three-volume graphic novel series published by Tokyopop. She has also worked on projects and anthologies for Wildstorm, Marvel, Rockport, and F+W Publications.
