Does everyone remember the natura Green magical aura We/Hal saw around Booker
In both Anime and Realistically an aura is a combination of Mood,soul/your coreself, and your experiences over the course of your life(like how people who fought in war has a different aura/air about them then the regular person even if they are super sweet.
Bookers mood most of the time is neutral/calm
His core as Hal noticed is Honest and as we seen in most social situations not including people he knows is shy but above All Quiet and reserved
His Experiences have been with the exception of Hal who is a fairy, and His Parent(relationship still uknown assume ok considering how deeply he cares for them as for he got his mom a gift and gets ticked when someone insults them) Negative or unwanted outcomes
The shade of his aura is dark green magical wise = Dark magic
Dark doesn’t always equal evil especially if your talking elements of Balance
So what if people can’t see but feel Booker’s overwhelming magical power and because its dark react negatively or unresponsively to his otherwise neutral actions
Just a theory but think about it if those who aren’t magically used to Auras especially Dark magic Ones like Hal (assuming Quillish color was the same as Booker given the ancestor in chapter 2) then they react negatively or lashout the source of it i.e Booker even when hes done nothing but be himself
Also the fact because hes honest and doesnt have a problem with answering any question per se and people cant handle the truth even when they need to hear it so they lash out instead of receiving it and figure out a way to fix, accept, (or if they are stupid) ignore it

I don’t think they actually knew each other in high school, since Gabe said to Tyler that he’d only known Booker for a few months–I think when he referred to what Booker was like in high school, he was talking about what Tyler told him, not personal experience.

He could have asked Booker then what happened Choice:He didn’t and Ditched his Fairy and Roomate technically for the second time
3 Could have talked to Hal and asked him to teach him a little faster and explained Why CHOICE:He didn’t they Argued
4 Months passed still avoiding Both of them and still has a choice to get to the Bottom as talk to Both Booker and Hal to clear things up calmly but Here we are
Everyones actions is a choice no matter how big or small
He had several options even not listen to the Gleam team and try to talk to Booker the day after
