The Gleam Team is just… SUCH a bad influence on him. But he’s also not as smart as Booker and just doesn’t want to admit it. I think everyone can a gree on that. From the get-go he had the maturity level of someone in their mid-teens and teenagers are literally some of the easiest people to influence. We think we aren’t but I’m self-aware enough to know WE ARE.

I don’t want to hate Gabe, (I love albinos) but he makes it really hard. He talks and talks and repeats what he hears, but he doesn’t actually listen. When it comes down to it, he’s gonna feel like such a bad person in the end.
I feel like this doesn’t even hurt Booker, he’ll just say “I told u so”. It’s the other one I think will be the most affected. Either he will be pissed enough that he will take Gabe’s powers back and further the bad guys plan, or both he and Booker will make a decision that will leave Gabe looking for a new roommate. If this has been going on for such a long time (it wasn’t winter before more like late summer), then they must be reaching a breaking point.
Little note, but Gabe isn’t a albino UNLESS the creator confirmed he was (even then he’s not a accurate albino). He’s not 100% pure white skinned like actual albinos are, he does have some slight colour to his skin. Plus, albinos ONLY have Red or pink tinted/pale blue/violet eyes (with see through/translucent pupils but since no characters in this have pupils i’ll give it a pass), NOT 100% pure pink eyes- only animals like snakes can have mostly pure pink eyes. Gabe is more likely a VERY pale leucistic with pink eyes then a albino. Please do research first!
Hi! Gabe is an albino and I am aware that he is not accurate in terms of appearance. His design follows a colour palette and when I didn’t want his skin to be purely white considering that his hair is already white. The colour comes from the shading to soften his appearance and make it more appealing.
Please understand that when I design characters, I do try to make it accurate but I also want to make sure the design is appealing and doesn’t hurt the eyes of the viewer.
I also have a strong feeling that that house was provided by Booker’s parents, since he’s the rich boy in the house….. so I’m leaning towards Gabe being booted. Booker doesn’t have to deal with it and he already expressed not liking Gabe at the moment too.
I feel bad for Gabe. He must be dealing with some inner pain deep in side. I do have one question though. Did Booker actually try to make friends with Gabe or did already decide that Gabe was not going to be a good friend before he getting to know him first?

1: 2 months together living in the same place your going to get to know each other from vocal communication no matter how small to Physical Body language ,consciously or subconsciously you get to know the person regardless
2: Pages back When Booker was quoating Verbatim all the rude stuff said to him the Line “It always ends the same” is a Signal that he has tried time and time again to befriend others period
What people dont get 90% of the time a real friend calls you out on your crap so you can fix it
Booker being as honest as he is has no reason to Lie
This was an example of calling out Gabe on Betraying Hal
He wouldn’t get involved if it was just him that was hurt or if Gabe was doing what he was supposed to do
But
A) Hal the third party is involved
B) Gabe is not Doing what hes supposed to instead if taking the True Magical route hes being taught backhanded tricks by Magical Apprentices who barely know as much as an Actual fairy
C) Gabe is in the Clutches of some Arrogant Blonde Basterd that did who knows what to Booker as Kids
I’m Pretty sure Booker is trying to save his behind
If he truley was facing inner turmoil why on earth is he taking it out on the person who gifted him the powers that allowed him to meet his new “friends”
I think he still hasn’t told Hal about the Ladybug thing and Blames him for not teaching him as fast as he wanted thus blaming Hal for nearly dying when in Truth it was Gabes Own fault for running off and trying to take on an enemy he himself didn’t have power nor experience to fight
How this all makes sense?
Well the Advoiding of Both Hal and Booker
Hal because he Blames him thus the lashout at Hal
And Booker because of whatever crap the Blond Idiot told him lashes out at Booker because with the information given even tho hes not a magical spending time and absorbing knowledge from Hal he will be Right/ He is Right and Gabe knows Booker is Right
And it Can’t be Pressure of monsters and protecting as a Magical because
1: We established in Chapter 1 there is no rush to be one so he could definitely take his time with Hal
2: at the start of the time skip hes been doing the same thing he did before the time skip when he ditched His roomates
That is shopping, Gossiping, and few magical stuff on the side if the training is anything like it should be
So I understand you feel bad for him but Come on his actions arent really worth sympathy or your kindness
Stone point you make. But I have this horrible feeling that Gabe is going to get so hurt that he won’t recover and it will end so badly. I want Gabe to learn but don’t want him to be traumatized.
