    Sooo yeah, confirmed
    1) Na’ilah/Wilfrid is a (twice-illegitimate) princess
    2) Olbrecht was close to and in love with their father
    3) … and, apparently, betrayed him and was probably responsible for his death as well.
    Except… the puppet king is still in place in present time, right? But a city ended up in flames…
    *sits here and continues to wait for the story to continue to unfold with bated breath*

      Her father was the ‘Mad King’. He probably got too difficult to control, so they killed him and tried to make it seem justified. Olbrecht knew of the (il)legitimate heir, so Na’ilah’s life was put in danger. Maybe he actively spilled the secret/attacked her.
      Also, is Sayida her mother?

        Noooo, Wil’s father was leader(?) of the rebels who overthrew and killed the Mad King. After that, he became the King himself, but as he had had help from vetals, he had to answer to them.
