      That would make more sense to me than the Margrave using them as a shield. He seemed truly regretful. I think there’s definitely more going on than the Margrave just being the villain.

      How old is Wil? I know part of it is their height difference compared to the Margrave, but they seem so young on the last few pages. Though, it would be in character for them to carry themselves in a way that obscures their true age, wouldn’t it?
