      No, he was a priest that they tracked down, tortured for info, and then killed. They call him “my first target” on page 121, and I’m assuming that the reason they went to Adigo was because the priest said that Olbrecht was there. I’m not familiar with the comic before the reboot, but I think that another country invaded their homeland, deposed the ruling family, and a put a puppet king in power.

      They say “he didn’t recognize me” presumably because they were someone recognizable in their homeland.

        From what the original version seemed to imply, this sounds likely, yeah! (There could be changes to the main plot though.)
