    Honestly, my editorial notes for this set of pages was pretty much just, “Can you maybe tone down Wil’s eyelashes a bit? Because they’re glorious, and I don’t think I can handle it.” :-)

      Glorious really is the word and yes, I do think it’s the eyelashes especially that are doing it. Whatever it is they are doing, they’re doing it really well.
      More seriously, the panels where you make them lighter give a reaaaal nice contrasting effect like Wil is bathed in angelic light or something, I love that technique so much.
