Awesome chapter!!!! :D :D I really love this audio drama so much.. ^____^
Well, I feel like we finally get closer to the answers here. I actually think it is pretty clear now why Rosa avoids being alone with Janelle. And that is also more than probably the cause of Navil’s (??) death. Was it jealousy on his part? Or was he mean to Jamilah? Or did he really love her and killed himself? AND it seems that Robbie actually knows everything.
Can’t wait till next chapter! And wonderful, wonderful work on the voices, everyone. Love listening to you ^__^Finally got around to enjoying the CB package (so delicious!!)! And this side story was a special treat – I always had a weak spot for Black Jack- there was this strange yet magnetic chemistry between him and Clio from the start, which is maybe why I couldn’t really fall for her getting it on with August ^^ (that and August being extremely suspicious).
Loved this! AND absolutely loved the couple extra bits we got for the main story – SPOILER ALERT!!!!-so was Red Jack Lila’s prowler? And the ending!!! Awesome.
I am just sad Gauntlet is ending soon – somehow I felt it was going to be much longer ^__^AWWWWWWWWWWWW ^_______^
This was so sweet.. I particularly liked the moment when Sadie says :”do you know how difficult it was..” (stopping for spoilers! XD) – this bit was such a good observation, so true.

So Chance was the person who talked to Clio when she was first taken by the Greys.. I was wondering about that bit for a while. All bets are off again now – can’t wait to see what happens next ^__^
Wow, Courtney! :D So many ideas! I love how we have hints, but it is still pretty much impossible to tell what’s going on on Persephone ^^ – suspense suspense.. I really like your idea of Jamilah hiding something in her pod – that sounds like a pretty good hiding place, actually.
OK, this is most probably my morbid imagination or the lack of sunshine or all of the above, but I think Jamilah’s not in her pod.. It is possible that someone else is there – someone she cares very much about.. or that the pod is empty.. but I have a bad feeling about Jamilah herself – I don’t think she’s alive anymore.. >__<
J..J..Jamilah…!!! TT__TT I have a bad bad bad feeling about this.. that painting is not there for Janelle not to see her old.. that’s all I’m going to say.. *goes to cry in a corner*

I want to jump on the pages and beat Touya to a pulp and protect the rest… >___< (yes, yes, I know, Touya probably went through hell himself, but right now I have trouble caring..) And Sachi… SACHI..!!! You better be safe or.. or.. there will be retaliation!!! TT__TT;;;

For Dan Simmons, I really liked his Hyperion series for plot weaving and world building and Carrion Confort was.. yes, pretty spooky, but in a really well balanced way (I didn’t like several other of his works though). I have no idea about what kind of person he is since I only am familiar with some of his work – but yes, I find it difficult to enjoy someone’s work if I am in a disagreement with them on fundamental values – it is tricky :)
I love the name choice for Demyan. In fact, it is an old russian name, which became very rare in the urban areas in the 20th century. It gives a nice “ancient” vibe to the character, which is quite fitting, considering who he is :))) And it’s funny, the parallel with “demon” did not occur to me either, but I say it’s a bonus! :D
Demyan definitely already commands attention and I already have a thing for him because of that particular description of how light always evades him. It is a very compelling theme.You can’t trust anyone in the Gauntlet, right? ;)
The setting is very intriguing – if we assume that this is a world without magic (which seems to be the case), then Gauntlet being so large seems highly unlikely in a realistic world (it is an abandoned building in the middle of the city in the beginning). That and other elements point to it being actually set up in Clio’s head (how that happened and who/why is doing that is the question).
What is a bit surprising to me is Clio’s reaction to the Gauntlet and people in it (August in particular) – after a near-to-death scare as she entered the place and the following days/weeks (?) that she spent with Brit trying to survive, she is extraordinarily un-wary of new places and new people.I would probably be asking everyone new the same question as soon as I see them: “what IS the Gauntlet?!! what is going on here???!!”
Mmmmm…this is getting more and more interesting. Kuoppala’s mind wall made me think of Dan Simmons’ “Carrion Comfort”- dark and unsettling. I really like the Angels premise and am quite curious about the lovers now. Great chapters! :D
Oh.My.F..G…!! O__O This chapter..! I didn’t see Ochi’s power coming at all.. But Touya… grows more and more ominous by the second.. So much suspense, how are we supposed to wait till next part now, Lianne???!!!!! XD;;;;;
