Ahahaha, thanks! (I think, heh….) Moss can be tricky to navigate when writing; he’s got so much piss coming at him from so many different angles the convergence zones get a little, uh…chaotic? The result tends to be frustrating…but in a rewarding way, hopefully! Guess it’s a good thing he’s got Phoenix to beat some strength into him, and Marko to catch him when he plunges too far off the deep end…

Aw, thanks guys. You are too kind. I’m also kind of in love with Kri. He had an, uh…ghost of a cameo in chapter 7, but I also ruminate on his further adventures (not sure if that’s quite the right word, but we’ll roll with it) from time to time and really want to write more about him at some point.

Hahahaha, thanks for respecting Moss’s personal bubble. He is a bit tricky to grasp, agreed! But I think you’re onto him.

As for Phoenix, well…I suppose you’ll just have to wait and see. ; )

Ha, yeah…Moss’s strong suit is kind of the polar opposite of ‘skilled at interpersonal relationships.’ He can be a bit of a non-communicative ass sometimes, but still weirdly pitiable and…lovable? In a really antagonistic way. Or something…

At any rate, yeah, he’s always been aromantic in my mind, with ace leanings (though obviously not so much in the context of this story); glad to hear that you’re glad to see it being portrayed!

I made the mistake of reading this on a train earlier today. I loved it, but have come to the conclusion that it is too amusing to read in public. But I’d totally do it again.

Yes yes yes. This was pretty much the best.

So much good to say about this chapter, and not only because of the fucking. ; ) Demyan’s dream was lovely; the roosting moon, the desert-turned-lake, the plain of white salt. It all resonates. I also love how this chapter works as both a reprieve–a step to the side of the exterior drama–and a huge emotional lurch forward.

Finally got to read this. So grabbing; makes me wish I didn’t have an apartment to pack into boxes right now–otherwise I’d down the rest of it pretty much immediately. I especially like the momentary tensions in the early parts, created by Toivo’s desire to kindle warmth in everyone he crosses paths with; those sort of mini-narratives pace the story nicely. And, of course, the second half was all one great blood-thrill. Also: I have a feeling Demyan’s going to be a favorite of mine, heh…

So, these are kind of more general questions about the podcast, but:

Is the podcast going to be a regular (maybe monthly?) thing? Because podcasts are my incentive to do the dishes, and I always love having new ones to listen to. Heh.

Are you going to do audio interviews with Sparkler creators? I’d love to hear from the artists/writers about their processes/creative ticks/general awesomeness. : )

Gaaaah. So lovely. And its aesthetics fit perfectly with the story.
