Ah thanks so much for your feedback! I love reading your speculations and observations! I was excited to post this chapter and really excited about chapter 6 as well. I love introducing and developing more of the key characters. I wouldn’t say if they have protagonist armor though ;)
Mythrilite is indeed totally made up fantasy stuff.five-pm: thank you for all your feedback! it’s very interesting to read your speculations. As you probably know from my other works, I always like to leave a little something up to reader interpretation ^^
another interesting tidbit since you mentioned liver. it’s the prized part of the kill among group hunters, usually reserved for the alpha.
Hi there!
Thanks so much for reading! I’m very excited to be jumping right into the story after the introductory first chapter. I hope it’s not too disorientating! The pacing is definitely different than Off*beat!
Corinthian-
Glad you are looking forward to the next chapter! There will be answers…and more questions to come! I have reference to various mythological creatures from different tribes but they are loosely based. Much how more iconic monsters like vampires and such are quite varied in interpretation.Wonder1440- I hope you get to understand Morgan more as you read, but your first impression is what I had hoped for. ^^ I researched a bit of slang and expressions here and there ( ex. “Dudes” was used to refer to city guys unfamiliar with the frontier though it’s lost most of this meaning today) However, it’s more important for it to read naturally and easily than for it to be historically accurate, as it’s not a historical fiction by any means and is purely entertainment XD
it is indeed the same character ;)
Thank you for reading! I’m always skittle nervous when chapters first go up but launching a brand new story makes me so much more nervous! very excited about the next chapter when I get to explore more character building and interactions~
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the Chromatic Press staff for enabling me to finish this project. It sure has been a journey!
and of course I am extremely humbled and grateful to all the readers who followed this story.
I sincerely hope you found it worthwhile and enjoyable. Thanks for your feedback! These last two chapters were some of the largest revisions in 2012 so I’ve been anxious to see how they would play out. We’re almost to the end!
Thanks so much! I hope you enjoy it!
I always get nervous when the new chapter is released.
wonder1440: Ah yes! It’s been so long that it’s easy to forget stuff like Tory’s cold! I have to keep trying to double check myself of details like the tones of their shirts and patterns on Colin’s cats.
h.Chrisgo1: That was one of the small things I added in the 2012 version of the script!
snowylocks: I’m glad you like the scenes with side characters, as well as the main characters. I don’t think Tory would feel like a complete character without them?
pandycanes: Thank you for your continued interest and support for this story! I know it’s been such a long time coming!!hopefully I still have a few tricks up my sleeve ;)
Hello!
Just wanted to say thanks for the feedback and I’m really happy (and relieved!) with the positive feedback so far! It was really pretty nerve wracking to considering how long it’s been since book 2 was originally published. Thanks so much for the support and I hope you continue to enjoy the future chapters! -
