I’m liking the flashbacks to little Daniela, and how she’s always been a little adventuring detective. Also, I’m super jealous of everyone’s hair.
Aw, I’m sorry I missed this post for so long! Yes indeed, a major highlight of this series is everyone’s fabulous hair. :-D
BTW, not sure if you caught it, but the book that is Daniela’s prize is Don Quixote de la Mancha, the famous tale of another adventurer! Her father isn’t particularly subtle about encouraging her enthusiasm for travel and excitement, it seems. ^_^
