This is a very beautiful, poetic story. While reading, it felt as I was watching a live painting, done with colorful words. Kimono and silk descriptions made me think of Sei Shonagon’s Pillow Book, with that attention to detail and poetry.
The illustration suits the mood wonderfully. Beautiful work.

    Is necroposting a thing here?

Well, whatever. I just finished rereading this and the ending left me just as giddy as the first time I read it. This whole thing is stunningly written and flows beautifully. It’s incredibly easy to just fall into Fuji’s world.

I really, really hope to read your future works one day.
